George Benson
Eight time Grammy award winner George Benson has been hammering out an incredible list of inspiring jazz tunes for more than forty years now. His Website gives us loads of info on how this jazz great became so successful and how he has played an important role in the development of many young jazz guitarists. The biography here is great as well as some of the photos. Anyone who can appreciate George Bensons music will have a good time looking around this site.

Herbie Hancock
A very well put together site giving us lots of intriguing information on this well respected member of the jazz as well as former disco community. One of the best aspects of this site are the photos of Herbie at various points in his life. They seem to take us back to many points in the history of the jazz movement, and give us a taste of what it must have been like to be a young blossoming jazz musician at such a tumultuous time in our nations history. There are also links to many different sites for those interested in a more in depth look at the Herbie Hancock legacy. A fun stop for any fan of this keyboard great.

Thelonious Monk
This a truly wonderful an informative Website for anyone interested in Jazz music, and especially someone who is interested in jazz along with education. This site is not only a tribute to the late jazz great Thelonious Monk, but also a tribute to all of those who take an interest in passing down the jazz legacy to the next generation of musicians, and jazz listeners as well. Thelonious Monk was a great musician; almost anyone who is a fan of jazz music knows that, but what this site gives us is a glimpse into the mind of a man who wanted to make sure that the music he loved would never cease to amaze, and never be forgotten. Complete with clips of some of The Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz students, and many of the institutes supporters such as Herbie Hancock & Tipper Gore. If you are a jazz lover, you owe it to yourself to take some time, and take a look at this truly amazing site.

John McLaughlin
Unfortunately most of the really exciting sites are left to those musicians in the world of superstardom. Jazz great John McLaughlin, in his nearly thirty-plus years as a recording artist should have a mammoth amount of material, and a mammoth amount of people interested enough to have a Website bigger than most, but apparently this isnt the case. Not much to see here, just a not-so exciting biography churned out by someone in the publicity department of his label, and a picture of the John holding his guitar. Too bad, this could have been a truly amazing site if someone would have taken the time. Perhaps one of the unofficial sites might be a little more stirring.

Wynton Marsalis
A beautiful web site dedicated to one of the jazz worlds most insightful and influential players. The biography alone on this man, make this site a great stop for any fan of Americas truest form of music. Interact with other jazz fans through a message board filled with loads of interesting information on Wynton and many other jazz topics. Read the story of his latest release and get all the info on his tour dates. This site requires the user to register a user name to access some of the areas.
