LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Bai Ling got stopped at the airport, but not for smuggling in dangerous weapons or drugs.
"The Crow" actress was arrested at Los Angeles International airport Wednesday, Feb. 13 for allegedly shoplifting, reports TMZ.com.
Ling, 37, visited one of the terminal gift shops and walked off with two celebrity magazines and a pack of batteries before she was placed under citizen's arrest by a shop employee. The "cooperative but crying" Ling was apprehended by Airport Police and booked for theft.
A court date has not yet been set.
Ling is best known for her various film roles in both Chinese and American films that include "The Crow," "Anna and the King," "Shaolin Soccer," "Three ... Extremes," "Lords of Dogtown" and "Soutland Tales." On the small screen, her outrageous personality was displayed on the celebrity talent show "But Can They Sing?" and last season, she appeared on ABC's "Lost" in flashbacks.
